Enhancing your drinking water

All beings need food, air, and water just to survive. As humans, a daily intake of around eight glasses of water is considered essential for us to remain healthy. Up to 60% of our bodies are made from water. Because of this, I seek to drink the purest and healthiest water that I can.

Shungite

For years I have used shungite stones to increase the healthy benefits from drinking water. Shungite stones are carbon based and found in Russia. Many people believe shungite has healing properties that include protection from electronic and magnetic fields (EMFs). An excellent article can be found in Healthline, What Is Shungite and Does It Have Healing Properties? Posted September 3, 2020, it contains links to research, reported benefits, and the following list on ways to use shungite for your health.

“Shungite can be used in several ways. According to those who use it regularly, you can:

      • Infuse your water. Historically, shungite is used to purify water. You can use a shungite filter or place the stones in water for 2 to 3 days.
      • Wear it as jewelry. Like other stones, shungite is available as beads or pendants.
      • Carry it in your bag. This allows you to benefit from shungite’s healing properties when you’re on the go. Another option is to place the stone in your pocket.
      • Place it near EMF (Electric and magnetic fields) sources. Some people put the stone near electronic devices, like microwaves and Wi-Fi routers, to shield them from EMF.
      • Display shungite in your home. It’s recommended to put the stone near your bed to help you destress and improve your sleep.
      • Meditate with the stone. You can meditate near the stone or place it on your body.”

PolarAid

Recently I began enhancing my water with the help of the PolarAid disc. I admit, it is much easier to use and less mess as you just set your glass on the disc. I believe it works the same by improving the energies in my water to help improve my health.

How it works is that the PolarAid copper “antenna” harnesses naturally occurring energy frequencies that “support improved wellness and wellbeing.”

The founder, Dr. Dino Tomic, recommends you place this small, hand-held disc on your chakra energy centers also to treat your whole body throughout your week. This is in addition to placing the disc next to your bed for better sleep or on the part of your body that needs healing.

According to Dr. Tomic’s website, PolarAid Health, there are many ways you can use PolarAid to help improve your health. It

“Supports:

      • Weight management
      • Healthy metabolism
      • Bowel and digestive health
      • Female and male sexual health
      • Cardiovascular health
      • Urological health
      • Ocular and sinus health
      • Muscle, joint and spine health
      • Cerebral health
      • Mental calm
      • Balanced moods
      • Emotional health
      • Enhanced sleep and relaxation”

I bought my PolarAid disc directly from the source, PolarAid Health. An instructional booklet comes with your purchase. It outlines healing protocols based on his research since 2013 with PolarAid users.

Remember to drink your water

Whatever you do, drink plenty of water as part of your daily protocols to keep your mind, body, and spirit healthy.

Stay healthy,

~~Ellen

Building your endurance and strength

Going on six months now, I have been practicing the ancient Chinese wellness practice of qigong (chee-gong). My friend and energy practitioner colleague, Judith Schutz, has taught me the seven-basic moves of Dragon and Tiger. She’s also encouraged me to continue.  Judith no longer has to encourage me – I get it.

Before leaving on our holiday in July, I helped our son by working out in his yard. It had been at least two years since I worked in a yard. I weeded, dug holes, and planted throughout my day. I enjoyed the work. It felt good.

In the end – I was tired and thought I was going to be sore that next day.

Imagine my surprise when I awoke with absolutely no pain from all that physical labor.

I attribute to qigong.

Qigong

You’re probably already familiar with “qi” which refers to the life energy in all living beings.

“Qigong translates from Chinese to mean, roughly, to cultivate or enhance the inherent functional (energetic) essence of the human being.”

One of the reasons I was so surprised by my new endurance level is that qigong requires gentle movements. It’s easy and repetitive. You can do it standing, sitting, or even laying down. I spend about 20 minutes, three days a week – sometimes more – practicing qigong.

Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong

Theosophical Society’s YouTube channel has an excellent demonstration of Qigong with Don Myers’ Introduction to Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong. The video is over an hour long and well worth it because Don tells of the history and teaches you the first of seven movements. He then shows all of the movements together.

From what I have read, Dragon and Tiger serves as a popular, meditative healing practice for everyone including cancer patients. It helps with balance, depression, and endurance among other wellness results.

If you seek a way to keep physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy, check out qigong.

Take care,
